I am Cho, and my home is the beautiful city of Heidelberg, where I enjoy life with my lovely family and our dog (she is also very lovely).

I have a huge passion for basketball and graphic design. I am a firm believer that less is always more, and I operate under the principle that form must be a result of the content.

It is a true honor to be a part of Transformation World, the premier IT event in Heidelberg! Since 2017, I have had the privilege of overseeing all the visual elements, from the on-screen keynotes to the wall graphics. It is consistently awe-inspiring to witness the growth of this event year after year, featuring such outstanding figures as Gordon Herbert, Dr. Auma Obama, and Andrea Petkovic.

The Franklin Areal is one of Germany's most significant military conversion sites. I was fortunate enough to be invited by Signum Communication to pitch for the design of the entire corporate identity. And I won the pitch!

The Schaulager in Basel has dedicated itself to the task of preserving, researching, and exhibiting contemporary modern art. In 2012, while the main building was undergoing renovation, the Schaulager presented its work during Art Basel right in the Messeplatz within a temporary pavilion, which was designed by Herzog & de Meuron.

At the time, I was working at NewID, and we were commissioned to handle the entire visual identity for the project. This mammoth job was ultimately honored with an IF Design Award!

As a basketball fan, I can even get excited about sideline sports like soccer (just joking!). Especially when they are from my home region. During my time at SercideDesign, I was proud to lead the rebranding of "Spielfeld" – the official matchday magazine of TSG Hoffenheim.

One of the highlights of my time at NewID was always producing the graphics for the Bühler AG annual report. My philosophy was simple: pure, straightforward visuals that speak for themselves.

Side projects, or those done for friends, always hold a special place. Throughout my years working as a designer, I've had the pleasure of designing everything from custom fonts and Korean bus timetables to the branding for a friend's handmade noodle manufacturer.
